Terms of Service

PDFsuite ("we," "us," or "our") provides a PDF toolkit available at pdfsuite.co and as a Mac app. All PDF processing runs locally on your device. We do not receive, store, or process your documents on any server.

You must provide a valid email address to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. Each account is for a single person - sharing accounts across a team is not permitted; to give other people access, use a team plan, where each person signs in with their own account. You can use your account on up to 3 devices at a time, add up to 6 new devices in any 30 days, and sign devices out from Settings.

• Free trial - new accounts get a free trial with full access, no credit card required.
• Paid plans - prices, billing period, and what is included are shown at checkout before you pay.
• Renewal - plans that renew do so automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your billing settings.
• Plans bought through a partner - some plans are sold through partners and are activated from your partner account. They give a number of seats. The account that activates the plan owns the team and can invite and remove people; each person uses their own sign-in on up to 3 devices at a time. If the team has more people than seats (for example after a downgrade), the people who joined last lose access until a seat is free. The plan does not renew: it covers PDFsuite for as long as we offer the product. A person's access through a team ends when they leave or are removed, and the team's access ends if the partner refunds the purchase.
• Team plans arranged with us - team plans bought directly from us cover the number of seats and the period we agree in writing, and otherwise work like plans bought through a partner: the owner invites and removes people, and each person uses their own sign-in on up to 3 devices.
• Refunds - for plans bought directly from us, if you are not satisfied within 30 days of your first payment, email us at hi@pdfsuite.co for a full refund, no questions asked. Refunds for plans bought through a partner are handled by that partner under its refund policy.

You agree not to use PDFsuite to:

• Process documents that you do not have the legal right to access or modify.
• Circumvent, reverse-engineer, or exploit the service in ways that harm other users.
• Violate any applicable law or regulation.

You retain full ownership of any files you process using PDFsuite. We claim no rights over your documents. PDFsuite, its branding, and its source code are owned by us. You may not copy, resell, or redistribute the service.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your account data. Your PDF files are never transmitted to us - this is a technical property of the service, not merely a policy commitment.

PDFsuite is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. While we work hard to keep the tools accurate and reliable, we cannot guarantee that every output file will be perfect for every use case. You are responsible for verifying outputs before using them in critical workflows.

To the extent permitted by law, PDFsuite will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for direct claims is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

We may update these terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will notify you by email before they take effect. Continued use of the service after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
