Nine placement options - top-left, top-center, top-right, center-left, center, center-right, bottom-left, bottom-center, bottom-right - let you choose a position that does not obscure the most important content in your specific document. Will the watermark appear when the PDF is printed?: Yes. Because the watermark is embedded into the PDF content stream rather than applied as a viewer-side annotation, it appears in every viewer and in every print job. It is not possible for a recipient to simply hide it by turning off an annotation layer.
Can a recipient remove the watermark from the PDF?: A determined recipient with PDF editing software can attempt to remove any watermark.
