Privacy Policy.

The short version

Your PDF files are processed entirely inside your browser using WebAssembly. They never leave your device, never reach our servers, and we have no technical ability to see their contents. This is not a policy promise - it is an architectural fact.

What we collect

We collect the minimum needed to run the service:

• Email address - collected when you create an account, used for authentication and sending important account notices (receipts, expiry reminders). Stored in InstantDB.
• License status - your plan type (trial, pro, lifetime) and subscription dates. Stored in InstantDB. Updated by Polar when you subscribe or cancel.
• Payment data - handled entirely by Polar (our payment processor). We store only a reference ID to link your subscription to your account. We never see your card number.

What we do not collect

• The contents, names, or metadata of any PDF files you process.
• Usage analytics on which tools you use or how often.
• IP addresses beyond what our hosting provider (Vercel) logs at the infrastructure level.
• Cookies beyond what is strictly necessary for your login session.

AI features (BYOK)

If you use AI-powered tools, you supply your own API key (OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google). That key is stored only in your browser's localStorage and is sent directly from your browser to the AI provider. It is never transmitted to PDFsuite servers.

Third-party services

• InstantDB - authentication and profile storage.
• Polar - subscription billing and payment processing.
• Vercel - static hosting and edge delivery.

Each of these providers has their own privacy policy governing how they handle data passed to them.

Data retention

We retain your account data (email, license status) for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription and do not renew within 12 months, we may delete your account data. You can request deletion at any time by emailing us.

Your rights

You may request a copy of your account data, ask us to correct it, or request deletion. Email hi@pdfsuite.co and we will respond within 30 days.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we will email registered users before the change takes effect. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated.
